Once I started focusing on my diet, I realized that I had some bad eating habits. In addition to baking cookies weekly with my daughter, I also made a lot of goodies at home such as rolls, pies, and loaves of bread. Unfortunately, I was packing on the pounds. I realized that if I wanted to lose weight, I needed to seriously change the way that I was eating. Instead of using regular white flour, I started using whole grain flour that had essential vitamins and minerals. I wanted to make baking healthier for everyone, which is one of the reasons I made this website about baking.
